the English and me

Hello, today I´ll write about when I start to learn Inglish.
Everything is start when I was very yung, in the school and my teacher teach me songs in english, I learn very fast because I have good ears and I like to sing, but I don´t understand what the song say.
When I grown a little a see much movies with subtitles and I listen when actors speak in english and I read en spanish and I learn many words in english.
Then in my second year in University I had English I with teacher Simon and he have a good metology to teach and I think I have made progress.
I think english is very important in the laboral fild because the influence of globalization is very big and if I wont to be a geographer I have to learn to speak and talk an write in english because the most important Geography publication is not in spanish, is in english.
I like very much the lenguages and I like to learn to speak in many more lenguages like french, german and japanese.
the lenguages is very importan and if you don´t now lenguage you are very limitated in many filds.
I can speak Italian very well, (I live in Italy sexteen years) and sometieme I teach Italian when I need money, but this lenguages in not to to important like english, because enlish is spoken in hole world.

Desert cities are living on borrowed time

the report proposes the Sahara deserts become the powerhouses of the next century, capturing the world's solar energy and potentially exporting electricity across continents. Sahara could, with today's technology, generate enough electricity for the whole world.
there is a problem: The rising water tables beneath irrigated soils are leading to more salinisation, and for example the Tarm river basin in China, it says, has lost more than 5,000 square miles of farmland to salinisation in a period of 30 years.
Many country have used water from the desert very unwisely.
By the end of the century rainfall drop 10-20% and the heat and lower rainfall are being compounded by the melting of glaciers in mountainous regions.
Development in the next 100 years is largely contingent on what happens to the climate.Deserts are threatened as never before by climate change, overexploitation of water and salinisation and we risk losing not only astounding landscapes and ancient cultures but also wild species that may hold keys to our survival."
